How long does the egg donation process last once a match is confirmed?
On average the egg donation process will last about 2-3 months.
How much will I be compensated for donating my eggs?
A first time donor will receive a compensation of $7,000. The fee will increase with repeat donations and could go up to $10,000.
Will the egg retrieval process hurt?
You will not feel any discomfort during the egg retrieval procedure, being that a light sedative will be used. After the retrieval you may feel mild cramping, but usually for a short period of time. You should be able to resume normal activities within 24hrs.
How does the matching process work?
The intended parents will have access to our donor database via a secure login information. Once there is interest in your profile we will be contacting you to confirm a possible match. Upon mutual confirmation, the egg donation process will begin.
Will egg donation affect my fertility?
Being an egg donor will not affect your ability to get pregnant later in life.
The Process
Donor Profile
Create your online profile, upload your photos, sign agency paperwork, and interview with one of our program coordinators.
Medical Consult
A preliminary screening and review of your medical history will be performed in order to ensure your viability as an egg donor candidate.
Match & Legal Contract
Once there is interest in your egg donor profile, we will confirm your match and a legal contract will be signed by both parties participating in the egg donation process.
Medications
A cycle calendar will be created with medication information and your appointment dates. You will be closely monitored with ultrasounds the blood work.
Egg Retrieval
On the scheduled date your eggs will be retrieved. While you may experience some discomfort, you should be able to return to your normal routine within 24hrs.
